In truth, they have their way with me.
You said you loved me,
Even after you no longer did.
My thoughts of you are beautiful distractions.
The kind of person that gives more than they receive on their birthday.
Trying to find meaning, when it’s all meaninglessness.
I wish I could forget the look in your eyes.
